Mr. Corey Robb is the principal at Benton Central and has been for over 14 years. Mr. Robb is known for putting kids first. He has a kind heart and makes sure that every kid at the school gets a “hello” or a “good morning” to start their day.
When it comes to his favorite things, he has a few… one of them is a love for homemade salsa. He even shared his recipe with the cafeteria staff to provide a special treat during winter finals. In case you didn’t know… that is his prized salsa recipe!
You don’t have to know Mr. Robb very well to notice his favorite color. Whether it’s green Stanley cups, green tennis shoes, green clothes, even the color of the letters he uses on his emails. It’s clear, Mr. Robb loves green. He even found his dream truck, a Jeep Gladiator in his favorite shade of green.
This Jeep traveled across the western part of the US this summer all the way to Yellowstone with Mr. Robb‘s family. It’s the car they use to go out to eat, pick up groceries, and even just to go across the street, which as Mr. Robb says, “I just love traveling in it, even if I’m just driving the 7 miles to school everyday.”
According to Mr. Robb, working with students is the best part of his job. He is a treasure to our school, and someday that darn green Jeep might be too.
