Missy Corns has been employed at Benton Central for about eight years, yet her time here has brought her to many positions; including jobs in the front office to her current job as our beloved Director of Food & Nutrition Services, which is the title she took on this year.

As the new Director of Food & Nutrition Services, she has much planned for this year. From a taste test day to allowing students to help with the menu crafting, She is constantly working on projects to involve students in the school’s lunch and nutrition, which truly shows her dedication to the students of Benton Central!

“One of my favorite consistent aspects is being able to help students and staff from behind the scenes,” Corns replied when asked about her ever-evolving role at Benton Central. Corns has shown herself to have an insatiable curiosity, and she’s always running head-first into challenges due to her inclination to explore the new.
