While everyone was celebrating Halloween by having class parties or dressing up, the Anatomy classes had a different way of celebrating. They are currently working on their skin unit and going into their next part of cuts and wound healing. They started it off by making fake cuts. Mrs. Strickhouser gave the students a quick run down of what to do and cut them loose and let their creativity take over. They were given toilet paper, cotton balls, vaseline, food coloring, and many other things.
Senior Arius Beaty Let her creativity shine. While some people did a small cut, she went and did her entire arm. When asked what inspired her to do her whole arm, she said, “I was messing around. I wasn’t really taking it seriously at the time, but then once it started to come together, I might put some effort into this.” She had never done anything like this before, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way her arm looked!
