Benton Central’s Business Professionals of America chapter competed this Friday the 6th at Regionals at Ivy Tech in Lafayette. Students have been preparing for their competitions since September, and their hard work has paid off!
In individual events, these students placed as follows:

- Hannah Byers placed 1st in Health Research Presentation
- Andrew Brown placed 2nd in Health Research Presentation
- Isabel Sayre placed 1st in Prepared Speech
- Freddie Haas placed 1st in Extemporaneous Speech
- Bennett Senesac placed 3rd in Extemporaneous Speech
- Isabel Sayre placed 1st in Administrative Support Research Project
- Emi Rodriguez placed 2nd in Administrative Support Research Project
- Hannah Wetli placed 3rd in Administrative Support Research Project
- Andrew Brown placed 3rd in Health Administration Procedures
- Hannah Bice placed 2nd in Graphic Design
- Addison Winger placed 3rd in Graphic Design
- Clayton Leuck placed 5th in Device Configuration
- Bella Holder placed 4th in Fundamental Accounting
- Caden Kawlewski placed 5th in Fundamental Accounting
- Emily Caldanaro placed 7th in Fundamental Accounting
- Brody Cox placed 3rd in Advanced Interview Skills
In team events, these groups placed as follows:
- The Financial Analyst Team of Emily Caldanaro and Maddie Peterson placed 1st
- The Small Business Team of Hannah Byers, Addison Winger, and Emily Rodriguez placed 1st
- The Global Marketing Team of Hannah Bice, Chauncey Keller, and Bella Holder placed 2nd
- The Economic Research Team of Caden Kawlewski and Rylan Burge placed 2nd
- The Presentation team of Gustav Robb, Bennett Senesac, and Freddie Haas placed 3rd.
These students all qualified for State competition in March at the Downtown Marriott in Indianapolis. Wish them luck as they move on!
