Last Thursday the boys and girls traveled to Twin Lakes for their first-ever double dual. They had two mats out so the boys and girls wrestled alongside each other.
The boys took the meet with a win of 53-18! Pins this night were from Kaleb Wallace (11), Izeyah Peterson (11), Ronnie Jenkins (12), Jackson Bunch (12), Camden Carson (12), and Brayley Smoot( 10). A few other wins included Joseph Mendoza (11) with a technical fall of 20-2, Ivan Orwick (9) winning with a minor decision of 6-3, and Logan Hoaks (11) also winning a minor decision of 8-4.
The girls had a close meet with the final score being 30-36, but even with the loss they still wrestled well! Pins this night were from Laurana Dillon (10), Ray Drake (11), and Isabel Sayre (11), Some girls even got the opportunity to wrestle twice, with Sienna Holscher (11) getting 2 pins, one of them being Twin Lakes’ number one girl.
