Helping hands is a club here at Benton Central that thrives to help our community in every way. Helping hands provide food to families within our community in need. Families receive weekly food bags with various snacks, along with “Break Bags” that provide numerous food items to make into meals. These bags are handed out during Fall break, Winter break, and Spring break. Along with providing food, Helping Hands also provides numerous hygiene products. From stocking the girl’s bathrooms every week with numerous feminine hygiene products to being in charge of the Hygiene closet. The hygiene closet consist of everything from shampoo, conditioner, and deodorant to lip balm, hair ties, and lotion. Helping Hands provides help to any kid and family here at Benton Central for free. If you are in a situation where you don’t have access to food or hygiene products don’t be scared to reach out.
