At Benton Central’s first home game against South Newton, the student section showed up and cheered the Bison on. Although we didn’t come out on top we battled.
In spite of the tough loss, the student section was decked out in all black and continued to cheer on their Bison Football team. They cheered so much that channel 18 noticed, and awarded the Bison the Spirit Award of the week.
Benton Central’s defense was strong, with Xaiver Flynn and Kaleb Wallace picking off two passes. Tanner Pitstick also had a big impact on the game, with 16 tackles.
We head to Logansport tomorrow to face the Berries at 7:00. Show up in your PJ’s or cozy attire to cheer on the Bison!
