Did you know you can save up to 3 lives by donating your blood just one time? Yes you can, Thursday, November 6th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Benton Central is hosting the annual Blood Drive in the Atha Gym. But what if I’m on a medicine that might come in conflict with that? Don’t worry you can still donate blood with common medications like Tylenol, most asthma drugs, high blood pressure medications, contraceptives, and more with controlled doses. If you have any questions about the medication that you are taking or anything about the blood drive don’t hesitate to ask Mrs. Thornbrough. If you are wanting to help save some lives and are 16 or older there are flyers posted around the school with a QR code. After filling out the form you can pick up a parent consent form from Mrs. Thornbrough. So help us Bison so we can save some lives!
