This week is National Health Unit Coordinator Week. This week promotes the important contributions that our Health Unit Coordinators do every day, not just one week. HUC’s manage administrative tasks in a healthcare setting which includes: keeping patient record’s updated, ordering supplies, and scheduling appointments. In the United States, there are over 160,000 Health Unit Coordinators. So if you know somebody who is a HUC, give them some appreciation for the work they do!
