Cross Country Bison Stampede

This past weekend, the Bison Cross Country team held its home meet, The Bison Stampede.

The Boys Varsity team consisted of Carter Fox, who placed 6th (17:38), Jonah Flemming, 10th (17:48), Mathew McKinnis, 23rd (18:46), Grady Rudolph, 27th (18:58), Sam Fleming, 42nd (19:46), Jude Johnson, 46th (19:58), and Louie Pyke, 51st (20:21).

The Girls Varsity team placed 2nd overall and consisted of Maddie Peterson, who placed 3rd (21:23), Loralei Rayman, 4th (22:09), Maggie Rayman, 5th (22:13), Cecelia Fisher, 17th (24:00), and Samiyah Rich, 42nd (27:05).

The meet was also their Senior Day. The team has seven seniors: Carter Fox, Jonah Fleming, Alexia Haddock, Maddie Peterson, Samiyah Rich, Grady Rudolph, and Jackson Smith.

Hi, I’m Jude Johnson! I’m a Junior at Benton Central High School in the Digital Design Class. I am involved in many activities at Benton Central, like Cross Country, Track, Spanish Club, Student Council, CAAP, National Honor Society (NHS), and Spanish Honor Society (SHS). I am the President of Spanish Club. I also do a lot outside of school. I am part of the Student Leadership Team at my Church. A fun fact about me is that I have my own small business creating and selling paintings and bracelets!
