The Bison celebrate their first sectional victory since 2022.
Last night, the Benton Central Boys’ soccer team continued its dominance in its first sectional game of the year. Coming into the game, the Bison had already faced North Montgomery earlier in the season, defeating them 4-2, and this time was no different, burying the Chargers 5-1. The night started with a goal by senior Rocky Ellis, and the team followed with goals from Aiden Zimmerman, Andrew Plassard, Parker Winters, and Zed Bennett, which also marked Zed’s 40th career goal. With this win, they move on to the sectional championship against the West Lafayette Red Devils on Saturday at 2 pm. Show up and show out for the Bison!
