On September 20th, Samantha Mosley crowned our 2024 Homecoming King and Queen. It was a tight vote, but Chauncey Keller and Tyler Crume came out with the win. Tyler Crume was crowned Benton Central’s 2024 Homecoming Senior King; he is involved in football, track and field, and class officers, and a fun fact about him is that he has two jobs. This is Tyler’s first royalty title. What Tyler likes most about his Queen, Chauncey Keller, is that she is a nice person, and what he likes least about her is that she is short. Tyler had thought that Gus Robb and Bella Gross were going to win. He responded that the pressures that he feels about being homecoming king is that he feels he needs to represent the school. Overall, Tyler feels gratified and radiant about winning this title. Tyler would like to thank his football team for his win. And one change that he would like to make to Benton Central would be the no phone policy.
Chauncey Keller was crowned Benton Central’s 2024 Homecoming Senior Queen; she is involved in Spanish National Honors Society, National Honors Society, Spanish Club, Benton Central Dance Marathon, Community Activism Awareness Program, 2025 Class Officers, Business Professionals of America, Soccer, Track, and Basketball. A fun fact about her is that she was born with twin toes. Recent royalty titles Chauncey has won are Homecoming Sophomore Princess and 7th grade Princess. What Chauncey likes most about her King, Tyler Crume, is his personality, and what she likes least about him is that during the crowning, he was sweaty from the hard work he was putting in during the football game. Chauncey had thought that Gus Robb and Ava Lukaszka were going to win. She responded that the pressures that she feels about being homecoming queen is that she is not sure of how to respond when people congratulate her. Overall, Chauncey feels honored about being crowned homecoming queen. Chauncey would like to thank her classmates and her parents. And one change that she would like to make to the school is more support and overall .
