Have you ever wondered who that cool dog walking around school is?  Wonder no more, this is Hank! He is a golden doodle who has 2 sisters who attend Benton Central. Hank is at school the majority of days walking around the school for students to pet him! He did his training at the Klondike Training Academy and went to school every day just like the students here. He received his degree in August of 2023 so that he could be qualified to come to Benton Central.

When interviewed, Hank had told us that his favorite part of the day is “Bark” but his translator clarified that it was getting petted by all the kids! He says that his favorite part about coming to school is all the attention, especially from the UPS man, and Ms. Kingerys students, and his favorite treat is even the treats that Ms. Kingery gives him! Everyone who has pet Hank or seen him has definitely noticed how nonchalant he is, therefore we had to ask how is so nonchalant all the time. His translator told us that if Hank acts up he won’t be able to come back. Hank also told us he isn’t allowed to have treats at school because of his job requirements but Ms. Kingery slips him a few sometimes. Hank was so well-behaved and radiated an infinite aura during our interview. We are very thankful for Hank.
