Alumni Cheer Night is taking place on Saturday, February 1st at 6:00 pm. The cheer team is cheering for the boy’s basketball game at home against Fountain Central.

The BC Cheer team is inviting anyone who was a cheerleader from the first graduating class to the most recent graduating class to come out and cheer once more! This is the first time ever they are hosting an event like this. It has been talked about many times in previous years but now the team finally has the opportunity to implement it. The alumni will participate in cheers with the high schoolers and recite the Benton Central fight song together. This is a special event that will tie generations of cheerleaders together again. The current high schoolers are very excited to see the alumni come out and cheer. 

Fun Fact: Our cheer coach (Coach Kuckartz) is a BC Cheer Alumni herself!

How do you feel about the alumni game coming up?

“I am very excited to see the past cheerleaders who have come before me and see how tradition carries on. My dearest friends have moved on to college cheer so I am ecstatic to see new skills that I may have not been taught before.”
