BPA has a big state competition coming up in just a little over a week. BPA students are excited and getting prepared to compete in Indianapolis for this three-day event. Multiple students are competing in different sections of the competition. I decided to ask a student and Ms. Musser how they are preparing for this competition. Rylan Burge said he and his peer Caden Kawlewski are reviewing their slides in their free time and locking in to perform at the best of their abilities in their part of their competition. Rylan said, “I’m looking forward to this opportunity, and I am ready to compete!” Then, I spoke to Ms. Musser, and she seems to have a pretty busy schedule in these upcoming weeks. To prepare, Ms. Musser has been making schedules, getting all of the paperwork ready, paying the bills for the hotel and registration, and practicing with the students. She will also be one of the graders for Payroll, Fundamental, and Advanced Accounting. Ms. Musser says, “I am looking forward to seeing how my students compete and who will move on to nationals.” If you’re wondering how you can support these students, participate in the BPA dress-up days next week!
