Homecoming Heartbreak

Benton Central falls 56-14 to Frontier on Homecoming Night

The Bison took on the Frontier Falcons on Friday, September 20th, Homecoming Night. Freshman quarterback Max Strawsma threw two touchdown passes to tally 14 points for Benton Central, but that wasn’t enough to outscore the Falcons. BC fought hard, but homecoming night ended in a heartbreaking fashion.

Hi! I'm Aiden Jessie, and I'm a senior at Benton Central. I have been involved with BC Stampedia since I started taking the Digital Design class. I am also involved in National Honor Society, CAAP, Council of Academic Excellence, Spanish National Honors Society, and Life Teen. I plan to study sports journalism at either Ball State or IU Bloomington. A fun fact about me is that I am a blogger for a Chicago Bears news outlet called Chicago Bears Nation.

Hi! I'm Isabel Sayre, and I'm a junior at Benton Central. I am involved with Stampedia since I started taking the Digital Design class. I'm also involved in National Honor Society, Spell Bowl, Business Professionals of America, and 26' Class Officers. I am also a varsity wrestler and track runner. Outside of school, I love 4-H and enjoy being a 4-H camp counselor, as my profile picture shows! Fun fact about me, my dream career would be being a college mascot.
