Senior Benton Central basketball player Hunter Sisson had an outstanding final season. While averaging an impressive 20 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, Hunter also shot 37.8% from three and 73% from the free throw line. He became just the 10th player in Benton Central boys basketball history to reach 1,000 career points.
Hunter’s most recent accomplishment was being named to the Journal & Courier 2025 Small Schools All-Area Boys Basketball Team. Ethan Hanson wrote, “The 2023 Journal & Courier Big Schools Player of the Year had a season to remember during his last year of high school basketball. The 6-foot-6 stretch power forward dotted the net with his jumper and form. Sisson finished with 1,251 career points, the third most in Benton Central history, and 505 rebounds.”
Congratulations to Hunter on an amazing senior season and for this rare accomplishment!
