The Benton Central Boys Golf Team is off to a great start! This year the team has seven seniors, Brody Cox, Ethan Schieler, Freddie Haas, Andrew Plassard, Adian Arredondo, Grady Rudolph, and Parker Winters. This number is very impressive and exciting, as the team has not had this many seniors in quite some time. Each of these seniors are returning from previous years, with the exception of Arredondo and Winters who decided to join the team as of this year. Each of these seniors are a great addition to the team both for their admirable scores, but also for their exceptional leadership skills. Ethan Schieler and Andrew Plassard (along with three other varsity players), had the opportunity to represent the Benton Central golf program at the Harrison Golf Invite this past Saturday, April 11th. Schieler shot a 10 and Plassard shot a 95. Great job Bison! Looking ahead to the remainder of the season, you can catch these seniors both on their home course, Oak Grove Golf Course, and various away courses, playing in multiple matches until May 29th. The Varsity team will then compete at sectional on June 8th. Come support these players, and the rest of the team, on their home course for the Bison Invitational, on April 25, at 9:00 am.
