SUMMER is quickly approaching with only 45 days left until May 27, the last day of school. Midterms are already here this week, April 16, 2026. But, there is one important thing that everybody is excited about and that would be summer break! In this feature I have asked seven students their summer break plans and what they are planning to do or accomplish over the months of June and July. What are you going to do over the summer?
Ava Larsen: “I am going to a college camp to learn more about the college experience and am also heading to Illinois to spend time with my family.”
Kennedy Smith: “I’m probably going to be working a lot but also want to spend a lot of time with my friends and family.”
Molly Bramer: “I’m going to do volleyball training throughout the summer, but am also going to hang out with friends and hopefully go swimming. I also have to work over the summer.”
Aubree Reed: “I am going to have a job and take my dog on walks. I also have a mission trip and the fair.”
Clay Miller: “I am going to the lake and am also going to hang out with my friends.”
Kendall Gephart: “I am going to do volleyball because of summer training.”
Keely Watt: “I’m planning on interning at the zoo in Lafayette and to also babysit.”
