At Benton Central’s first home game against South Newton, the student section showed up and cheered the Bison on. Although we didn’t come out on top we battled.
In spite of the tough loss, the student section was decked out in all black and continued to cheer on their Bison Football team. They cheered so much that WLFI, TV18, noticed, and awarded the Bison the Spirit Award of the week.
Benton Central’s defense was strong, with Xavier Flynn and Kaleb Wallace picking off two passes. Tanner Pitstick also had a big impact on the game, with 16 tackles.
Bison have the Homecoming game Friday at home.

I am involved in the National Honors Society, FFA, and softball here at BC. Outside of school I am involved in 4-H, LifeTeen, and I work at Heartland Veterinary Services.
