After having lots of extremely successful fall sports seasons, winter sports at Benton central are looking to continue the dominance. After both boy’s and girl’s basketball came out of a very productive and successful summer, they are looking to do more of the same under new and exciting leadership. Both of these teams also worked very hard this fall in order to set themselves apart from the competition and represent BC well. The wrestlings teams are looking to do more of the same from last year as they had tons of success. The girl’s team led by seniors Sienna Holscher, Isabel Sayre, Sophia Zarate, and Maddie Peterson, and Rowan Drake are influencing more and more people to join the already well established girl’s team. Boy’s seniors Logan Hoaks, Sam Padilla, Kaleb Wallace, and Joseph Mendoza, Aldahir Castro, Jace Bowman, and Izeyah Peterson are working hard to continue to establish competitiveness and intensity all season long. Swim seniors Ella Creek, Hannah Bice, Harper Harrel, and Makenna Kuntz are looking to improve from last year and set a relay record together this year. All of these teams are excited and ready to work hard and represent Benton Central well.

About the Contributor
Hello! I am Bennett Senesac, a current senior in Design Fundamentals class. I am involved in lots of clubs including Class President, Business Professionals of America Co-Vice President, National Honor Society, and Council of Academic Excellence. I also am a dual sport athlete as a varsity basketball and a varsity tennis player. Outside of school I am involved in St. Isadore the Farmer’s Life Teen, farm hand for Senesac Grain Farms, and I sell sweet corn for Oakus Farms. A fun fact about me would be that I can do a 360 on a surfboard! I am excited to participate in BCTV and Stampedia this Year, Horns Up!
