on November 8th the Benton Central volleyball team played state in gain bridge Indianapolis for the first time in school history. The Bison took on Barr Reeve high school at 1:30pm. The theme was whiteout and the student section came in their whiteout and cheered on the Bison. The Bison took a hold of the first set with the ending score of 25 to 18. In the second set Barr Reeve won with the score of 25 to 18. Then in the 3rd set Barr Reeve won 25 to 23 but the bison were really close. In the 4th set the bison won 25 to 17. The game was tied and each team had won 2 sets. In the last set the Bison were playing really good but Barr Reeve won the final set 15 to 10. Barr Reeve won the state title for the 4th time in there school history. The Bison were sad they didn’t win but were happy for making it this far and spending the season with the amazing team. The Bison ended their season with a record of 27 to 6. Great Job Bison!
