We have two e-learning days that we are allowed to have for missing school. If the two e-learning days have been used, we will implement Synchronous Learning. Synchronous Learning is on any day that has been cancelled due to snow or ice; every student will get on a Google Meet with the teacher and get a quick lesson, and talk about something for the class. If the student isn’t on the call, they get marked absent for the day in that class. Then, they have two days to make up the work.
The reason we are having Synchronous Learning is so that when we miss more days than our e-learning days, we don’t have to make up any days of school at the end of the year. Having to make up days can take the school year into June and possibly move Graduation day back a couple of days.
