“Setting” Us Up for Success

The Lady Bison Volleyball team has been on a roll lately. They have swept their competition 3-0 in sets that include Tri-County, Clinton Prairie, Lafayette Central Catholic, Lafayette Jefferson and Frontier Falcons. While they have had these outstanding performances, they have also had some tough matches that they fought hard in but came out a little short, losing to Harrison and Hamilton Southeastern.

Senior Calista Foster has been dominating this season so far with 36 kills, 7 aces, and a 0.289 hitting percentage. Senior Isabelle Adams hit her 1000 career assist Thursday night against Frontier. “I knew I was close but it didn’t feel real, this has always been a huge goal of mine,” Adams stated. Make sure to congratulate her on this amazing milestone that she has accomplished.

They will continue their season next week playing at West Lafayette on Tuesday night, and then on the road again to compete against the Rensselaer Bombers Thursday night. Come support your Lady Bison Volleyball team!!

Hello, I am Madison Minniear! I am a Junior at Benton Central High School. I am taking the marketing fundamentals class and that’s how I got here. I am involved in many activities at the school such as, Varsity Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, National Honor Society, FFA, and I am a Class Representative for the Class of 2027. Outside of school I am involved in 4-H, showing pigs and weaving baskets, as well as LifeTeen.
